Bangladesh Navy Ship Departs for Myanmar with 120 Tonnes of Relief Aid

A Bangladesh Navy ship set sail for Myanmar today carrying 120 tonnes of humanitarian aid, aimed at supporting communities affected by recent natural disasters in the region. The relief materials include essential food items, medicines, clothing, and emergency supplies.

Government officials and navy personnel were present at the port to oversee the departure. “This reflects Bangladesh’s commitment to regional solidarity and humanitarian assistance,” said a navy spokesperson.

The aid initiative strengthens bilateral ties and showcases Bangladesh’s active role in disaster response and regional cooperation.
